TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the: 1920's, 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and
70's !!
First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us.They took aspirin, ate blue cheese
dressing, tuna from a can, and did not get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, our baby cribs were covered with bright
colored lead-based paints. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we
had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air
bags. Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT
from a bottle. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this. We ate cupcakes,
white bread and real butter and drank soda pop with sugar in
it, but, we weren't overweight because WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING! We would leave home in the morning and play all
day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K. We would
spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After
running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no
video games at all, no 99 channels on cable, no video tape movies, no surround sound, no cell phones, no personal computers,
no Internet or Internet chat rooms.WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them! We fell out of trees, got cut, broke
bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did
not live in us forever. We were given BB guns for our 10th
birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very
many eyes. We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked
to them! Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment.
Imagine that!! The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! This
generation has produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever! The past 50 years have been an explosion
of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!
And I am one of them! CONGRATULATIONS! You might want to
share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated our lives
for our own good and while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave their parents were Kind of makes
you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it?!

Nope, I really don't
see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent
on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile
certain people. They must conduct random
searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members
of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning former Governors.
And to this day, Muslims are not required to remove their turbans when they go through metal detectors at airports for
fear it might infringe upon their religious beliefs. But rest assured your pilot who didn't set off the metal
detector
had to remove his hat. Please send this to as many people you can so that liberal Democrats, the ACLU, the Gloria Aldreds,
and other dunder-heads along with liberal judges who want to thwart common sense can be seen as how misguided and/or stupid

The university professor challenged his students with this
question. "Did God create
everything that exists?"
A student bravely replied yes, he did!"
"God created everything?" The professor asked.
"Yes, sir," the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil
since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are then God is evil."
The student
became quiet before such an answer.
The professor was quite pleased with himself and boasted to the Students that
he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask
you a question, professor?" "Of course," replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold
exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at
the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics,
what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Everybody and every object is susceptible to study when it has or
transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit
energy."

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion. I don't think being a minority
makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly
discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black
America.
Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White
America; and see what happens. Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant
of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off. When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities
where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability.
I believe that if you are selling me a milk shake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do
it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!
My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect
ours. I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry self if you threaten them after they tell you to stop.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government
sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business. We did
not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later
they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and
open to their interpretations.
I believe a self-righteous liberal or conservative with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude.
I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go
and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building. Ask your buddy who invented the Internet
to help you.
I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And,

Deck of Cards
It was quiet
that day, the guns and the mortars, and land mines for some reason hadn't been heard.
The young soldier knew it was Sunday,
the holiest day of the week.
As he was sitting there, he got out an old deck of cards and laid them out across his bunk.
Just then an army sergeant came in and said, "Why aren't you with the rest of the platoon?"
The soldier replied, "I
thought I would stay behind and spend some time with the Lord."
The sergeant said, "Looks to me like you're going to play
cards."
The soldier said, "No, sir. You see, since we are not allowed to have Bibles or other spiritual books in this
country,
I've decided to talk to the Lord by studying this deck of cards."
The sergeant asked in disbelief, "How
will you do that?"
"You see the Ace, Sergeant? It reminds me that there is only one God.
The Two represents
the two parts of the Bible, Old and New Testaments.
The Three represents the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
The
Four stands for the Four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The Five is for the five virgins that were ten but
only five of them were glorified.
The Six is for the six days it took God to create the Heavens and Earth.
The
Seven is for the day God rested after making His Creation.
The Eight is for the family of Noah and his wife, their
three sons and their wives - the eight people God spared from the flood that destroyed the Earth.
The Nine is for
the lepers that Jesus cleansed of leprosy. He cleansed ten, but nine never thanked Him.

The Jack is a reminder of Satan, one of God's

When I count

in a deck; each is a week - 52 weeks in a year..
The four suits represent the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and
Winter.
Each suit has thirteen cards - there are exactly thirteen weeks in a quarter..
So when I want to talk
to God and thank Him, I just pull out this old deck of cards and they remind me of all that I have to be thankful for."
The
sergeant just stood there. After a minute, with tears in his eyes and pain in his heart, he said, "Soldier, can I borrow that
deck of cards?"
Please let this be a reminder and take time to pray for all of our soldiers who are being sent away,
putting their lives on the line fighting for us.
