I am married and 23 years old..This site is about me and my life in the USMC.. I am in Iraq right now.. I got in country (this is military talk for arriving in a country where you have a tour of duty at.) on February 24, 2005. I am going to be here for 14 months, with a 2 week leave to go home sometime in July, 2005.

Why did I chose the United States Marine Corps to go into? Well, I wanted to go to college and felted like I also needed to help my country after 9/11. The military seemed like the best place to do both things. I picked the the Marine Corps because I did thought that there would be some action with it, I would not get bored with it (Ha Ha).So here are some pictures from the sand box (more military talk for the desert). With some of the things that I see and hear from over here thrown in. This is also to let everyone back home know that we thank all of you for the packages and letters from home that are sended. These little things help us feel closer to home and our love ones.
What a Grand Lady.
